Description & Services
Description (Service) A warm long term care community that offers exceptional care for residents who require moderate to high assistance * offers a chapel, library, beauty salon, gift shop * Snoezlen room that offers a multi-senosory environment that provides an atmosphere of relaxation, leisure and enjoyment for residents use * offers a variety of recreational, leisure and therapeutic programming * therapy services available, including physiotherapy, music therapy and occupational therapy 
Afton provides GPA (Gentle Persuasive Approach) training for their staff in order to increase their skill and knowledge level for our population of residents with dementia and responsive behaviours.
Hours Switchboard: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm 
Facility: Mon-Sun 24 hours
Eligibility People who qualify for long term care, as assessed by Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) Home and Community Care Program

Fees Service - All fees are determined by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care on a annual basis * subsidies are standard (ward) rate are available for eligible applicants
