Description & Services
Description (Service) Superior Court of Justice deals with such matters as the most serious criminal offences, summary conviction appeals, civil cases, divorces and family matters including division of property. Small Claims deals with Civil Matters less than $ 25,000.00. Enforcement Office deals with Writs of Possession, Writs of Seize and Sale, Garnishments, Enforcements of Notices to Vacate. Criminal Matters deals with Criminal matters both indictable and summary, fine payments, By-laws, Bail Hearings, Senior Youth Court (over 16 years of age) and Peace Bonds. Family Matters deals with Child and Welfare Court, Youth Court (under 16 years of age), Family Law dealing with support, custody and access.
