Description and Service Details
Description (Service) Offer Figure Skating, Power Skating, and Learn To Skate for all ages, male and female. Have group sessions for beginners and intermediates taught by professional coaches. Also have a large staff of private coaches available for private ice instruction for junior and senior skaters. Host an annual ice show at the end of March. Sanctioned by Skate Canada, the national figure skating organization.

Dates Skating starts mid-Sep with registration mid-Aug and early Sep. Skating is cancelled over the Christmas holidays and March Break, and concludes with the ice show the end of March.

Eligibility Ages: 3 year(s) and up 
 
Most skaters are at least 3 years old but it is really dependent on the child's ability and interest to be on their own on the ice (parents do not go on the ice with their child). The skaters include all ages from grade school through high school, and some college students.
Application Registration is normally at one of the Registration Day Sundays (mid-August and early September) but registrations are taken throughout the season at regularly scheduled sessions (see brochure on our web site).

Physical Access Partially Accessible - Ramp and parking ; The arena lobby area and change rooms are fully accessible, although the change rooms are down a long ramp. Access to the ice surface is up 3 or 4 steps from the change room hallway. There is limited wheel-chair accessible seating from the lobby for watching the skaters.
