Description (Service) | There are 4 primary IODE chapters under the umbrella of the Sarnia-Lambton Municipal Chapter: IODE Hon. Malcolm Cameron IODE; Elizabeth II, Errol Egremont Chapter IODE; Margaret Stokes Chapter (Petrolia). There are two main Municipal fundraising projects: Geranium sales in the Spring and Christmas Home Tour during the third weekend of November. Programs; LEAP (Local Emergency Assistance Program) a program designed to help local families in the community who suffer loss from fire or weather related calamity. Also has a police/fireman community award-recognizing their community contribution. * Award to be given during the Sarnia Lambton Annual Meeting each year. |

Large portion of the annual fee is tax deductible (receipt provided from the National Chapter IODE. Includes quarterly magazine "Echoes". |

Meetings | Meetings once a month except July & August (depending on the chapter), usually the first Monday of the month in various locations designated by each chapter; one chapter meets in the morning, some in the afternoon and some during the evening. One Annual general meeting per year usually late March or early April. |
