Description and Service Details
Description (Service) English as a Second Language (ESL) and Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) are designed to meet the needs of adult learners whose first language is not English * regardless of the length of time in Canada * language instruction * orientation to the community and available services * academic preparation for further education * language preparation for the workplace * language related to professions for internationally trained immigrants * language instruction in the workplace * group learning environment
