Description & Services
Description (Service) Deals with safety issues arising in Sarnia, Ontario. This is an umbrella organization of industries in the Chemical Valley dealing with emergency co-ordination and response. CAER helps residents prepare in advance for industrial emergencies.This thriving, modern community is located close to large chemical manufacturing, industrial, and oil refining industries, presenting a unique public safety challenge. The initials CAER represent the key components of the CAER initiative to meet this challenge * The CAER Industry Update Line is a 24 hour number that Lambton residents can call to hear current information about non-routine industry activity such as unusual noises, on-site alarms, training activities and industrial incidents
