Description & Services
Description (Service) Assists students with disabilities in obtaining academic accommodation to minimize the educational difficulties arising out of specific disability characteristics.

Such accommodations are those that extend distinctly beyond a standard level of service provided to the non-disabled population; and concurrently, they are those that relate directly to the specific disability to be minimized
Advocate within the College on behalf of students with disabilities
To provide professional development to the College community on disability issues.

Students with disabilities may access academic support through this office.
Hours Mon-Fri- 8:30 am-4:30 pm * Summer Hours 8:30 am-4 pm
Eligibility Ages: 18 year(s) and up 
 
Documented disability as defined by the Ontario Human Rights Code * students with disabilities must meet the academic requirements of their program of study * Academic accommodations will be determined during a student - SSDO counsellor consultation and accommodations will be made based on documentation with the intent to minimize the effects of the disability
