Description and Service Details
Description (Service) COVID-19 - In-office counselling appointments will no longer be scheduled. Existing clients will receive service via telephone. Similarly, the intake office will continue to accept new referrals by telephone. However, there may be a delay in assigning new referrals to a counsellor while we navigate through this initial period of adjustment.
Along with increased stress and anxiety, many people in the community may be experiencing financial challenges as a result of changes that may occur within their workplace. As a result, FREE single session phone counselling is now available . This service is geared towards those in our community who may not have benefit coverage, or an Employee Assistance Program with us through their employer.
Offers a safe, comfortable, non-judgmental environment to discuss concerns, clarify what may be helpful, and strengthen clients' ability to make desired changes. Work with individuals, couples and families.
Counselling services can help with a variety of issues, such as: depression and anxiety * stress management * anger management * interpersonal difficulties * grief and loss * experiences of trauma and abuse * separation and divorce * family stressors * relationship difficulties * parenting challenges * work-related stress
Counselling for male survivors of childhood sexual abuse: also provides community referrals, and education and awareness.
